My mom got me a pot and pan set for Christmas and I’ve been using the little egg pan to cook eggs for myself and my baby and I noticed a weird smell about a week ago but brushed it off and thought maybe some cheese burned or something but tonight it was apparent that it’s the pan. I threw it out but I’m so worried that the food I ate and my baby ate from it could cause harm to us. Or the smell through my home. 😭

it's fine. i've had cheap pans smell before and thought the same thing, that it could harm me. it didn't :) i think that something like that has to be long term exposure, from chemical smells. eating it would not do anything.
also, they usually don't make pots and pans out of anything too toxic, since, we are eating off of them. you and your baby will not have any health effects from this.

lastly, it's already done. you can't go back in time. just move forward.
