Hi folks, thought I'd better post this now as I'll probably be flat on my back tomorrow!
Met up with some friends in Cambridge - a three hour jouney for me. Was an enjoyable time, but it involved an overnight stay - because I couldn't commit as early as the rest, I couldn't stay in the same hotel so had to stay down the road - not ideal when you have grown up with feelings of rejection, but I digress.
Today, we all walked into the city , around it and back to the hotel/station again and that must have been 3 or 4 miles - way way more than I'm used to  I can feel my legs aching now - yuk!
Still, I have to do this to improve my fitness, I know. I'll never do this kind of thing on my own.
The Cambridge end of the rail journey was a bus, so that just added to the time, and the Underground in London seemed hot and stressful. Wish I could have been beamed up to Cambridge and just hovered around the streets with a jetpack :D
