Hi guys,

I've been on Pregabalin for the last 4 years and found it helped greatly at 300mg, but has recently started to drop in effectiveness to the point where I've raised it to 450mg.

I saw the psychiatrist this week who thinks I may have some underlying depression which is triggering the anxiety and has suggested adding Sertraline at 50mg. Has this helped anyone in terms of anxiety or is it more suited for depression? I tried Citalopram initially many years ago but it didn't really do much, especially compared to Pregabalin. Also, I've never combined medications before so am slightly apprehensive about that although from what I've read it's quite common to be on more than one isn't it?

I took pregabalin (principally for pain) and sertraline combo for many years. Sertraline can help depression and anxiety, whereas pregabalin will only act on anxiety.

Good luck :D

Hi KK77,

Thank you so much for your reply, that's reassuring to hear that it can be combined with pregabalin and that it can act on both depression and anxiety :)
