A few years ago I suffered from Health Anxiety really badly, but I managed to get it under control. For some reasons the same old feelings have come back - tight chest, achey arms, body feeling like it's gonna explode. I just don't know why I feel like this again. The last two months have been great, feeling well, blood pressure good, cholesteral level spot on, resting heart rate excellent, then all of a sudden from nowhere here I am again wondering why I feel like this. I keep checking my heart and BP and of course the more I check the worse it gets. Has anyone else had a relapse after such a long time, I can't find a reason. I can't get an appointment with a doctor, there is never one available and it's always call back tomorrow but still no spaces. I'm getting so upset now and just want someone to talk to about it. It probably is anxiety but I feel so unwell. Just so fed up with it :weep:

It's always bad when anxiety comes out of nowhere - at least if you can link it to an event it's sort of understandable. And the fact that it DOES make us feel so unwell just muddys the water and gets the mind working overtime and then the symptoms are exaggerated. It's what you call a vicious circle. I've got nothing else for you I'm afraid, other than I know how you feel.
