Hi Peeps:)

Well tomm I have a real treat in store:blush:

Some of you might remember from earlier in the year how my late cousins best mate drove me to distraction when he stayed here for 2 weeks for the funeral????

WELL HE IS COMING BACK TOMM!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRR...........

True I said not lose touch but expected him to maybe come down next year perhaps not again this year!!!!

2 whole weeks of no privacy, him talking all over the tv and our conversations, slopping tea everywhere etc etc!!!!

I can feel my nerves starting to shatter already!!!!

To clarify before anyone suggests I hit him over head with a blunt object lol he is in his 70s half blind and not the full picnic so being straight or trying to reason with him isent an option !!!

Kazzie I imagine he is lonely and that is the reason for the visit and you probably didn't let on how annoyed you were with him. Try and set limits like you would with a small child such as you can't walk around with your drink, etc. Perhaps if you put towels underneath his chair when he eats it won't make such a mess.

When you just can't take it anymore, set him in front of the tv and go lay down in your bedroom. Good luck.

Aaaw Kaz.....you poor thing! I sooo sympathise with you!

I know, why not book him into a Travel Lodge with my mother for a weekend...she's 78 cant hear the tv (or anything for that matter!) repeats everything a minimum of 3 times and slops tea everywhere lol !!...:ohmy::blush:!!! Sounds like it could be a match made in heaven !!:noangel:

Took him out today, went to New Forest, I wanted lunch so we went onto one of our fave pubs!!!

He moaned cos it cost him nearly 3 quid for a vodka and lemo, then he couldent pay for his lunch cos he has come down with no money ffs!!!

So I am now keeping him and have lent him money which to be honest I cant afford and will never see again!!!

I am now paying for the privilage of having him here:mad:

And to top it all he wants me to host a birthday party for my dead cousin in Dec!!!!

He is sending me over the edge!!!

Well Im still here just!!!

Came close to murder last night and my best mate had to drag me out and up the pub till I calmed down!!!

Trouble is he (best mate) has gone on holiday today for 3 weeks to that form of therapy is closed now lol!!!

Took Ian to Weymouth yesterday....round trip of 150 miles and when hubby asked him if he had enjoyed it he said well bits of it!!!!!

No thank you, nothing!!!

I must admit my nerves are bad again and feel really panicy today but hanging in there!!!

He is going home tomm a week early:D

Seems he has no money left despite getting pension today so he has decided to go home tomm:D

I feel bad like I should give him more money so he can stay but he isent enjoying himself and nor are me or my family:shrug:

When Mike was alive he used to come down and freeload off him for 2 weeks but me and hubby work all week so not here to sit in pubs etc all day:huh:

Sooooo glad he is off but feel soooo guilty too

Aww Kaz don't feel guilty mate :hugs: It's not your responsibility to be giving him money to stay longer. It's nice of you to be kind enough to have him there at all so you have nothing to feel guilty for, you've done enough already. If neither he nor you and your family are enjoying it then it's probably best he goes. I'm sure he appreciates you having him to stay mate so try not to feel bad.

You are quite within your rights to moan. That would drive me potty too.

May i suggest that you give him a call and tell him Aliens have landed in your back garden due to the fact that their space ship is booked into the local garage for some well overdue maintence, and that you being the kind hearted person you have have invited them to bunk down at yours till the work is done. So although you would love him to come visit, you'll have to ask him to leave it for another few months! :winks:

You poor thing, either that or lace his horlicks so he sleeps around the clock! lol
