Sharp brief pain in eyes

Hi, the last few days I’ve noticed a brief but sharp pain in one or both of my eyes. It’s not agony, but enough for me to notice and rub my eyes. It often fades quickly and goes away for several hours before kicking in again. I do wear contact lenses, although not today, so I don’t know whether that might be the cause, any ideas before I panic it’s something awful?

Hi, I normally get this when I have a migraine or when I've been on a laptop or looking at my phone too much where I get eye strain

I've get this alot, especially in the last few days. I tend to get it more in just one eye! I've had in for awhile not so I guessing it's not anything to awful! I hope you feel better soon x

Do you ever get like an eye headache?

Yeah I do, like an ache? I get it when my tension is high and I’ve tracked it down to neck and head tension which reaches right over and causes eye ache

Yeah, exactly that lol. I always presumed it was stress? My eyes also twitch when stress levels are really high.
