Done with my annual scans for my aortic aneurysm. Great news, my surgeon says no growth or change at all. That makes two years with minimal growth. She is confident in lowering my radiation exposure to a CT every other year and an echo every year, the idea being the echo will show any drastic change and then I can get a CT on any given year if necessary.
Great news, all the way around, and it reminds me that when our anxiety is lifted, we should remember those good days. It really gives us something to hang on to.
My therapist once told me two things that were very useful for me,
1. You don't have a health issue until you do.
2. Anxiety never lasts forever, remember that when the anxiety is at its worst.
Hope everyone can have a peaceful day today.
