Strange mark above eyebrow

Hi, I noticed a couple of weeks ago a mark appeared above my eyebrow. It looks like a large freckle, it’s flat and not sore.
When I was at the doctors I mentioned it and she had a good look, she said that she did not think it was anything to worry about but if things change then to go back.
it looks so odd on my face and off course I googled which has made my anxiety worse.
Now I constantly looking at it to see if it is changing....grrrrr

Thank you for your reply. I think because it is right in my eye line view I notice it more.
