Hi guys. I'm really annoyed at myself! Been coping well with health anxiety but out of the blue I've been having breathing difficulty. I used to get this a lot when I had anxiety and even though I know it's anxiety-induced, I can't shake it. I can breathe, I just sometimes can't take a satisfying breath.

It gets bad at night but I think that's because I'm lying there in darkness only concentrating on my breathing. Has anyone else had this? I have very mild asthma that is brought on by hayfever, so I've ordered an inhaler to help (though I suspect it'll be more of a placebo than anything else.

The most annoying thing is that I know I CAN breathe because when I go to sleep I breathe like normal and I even played tennis last week and wasn't more out of breath than usual.

So so angry at myself for letting my lid in health anxiety slip :(

Omg, i'm having this same issue right now. I've been dealing with low potassium and I think I'm worrying about it not going back up and my breathing is messing with me now. I can't take a satisfying breath either. It has to be anxiety. Let's get through this mess together, haha.

Yes, I think it’s very common symptom for anxiety. We’ll get through it together I’m sure. Mine is better when I’m distracted :)

I'm trying to distract myself, but bleh lol. My neck muscles and my arm are so tense from it now. But we can do this!
