Lorazepam and omeprazole. Very anxious for some information.

Hello. Can anyone tell me if its safe to take Lorazepam (Ativan) while I'm on a course of Omeprazole, which I'm taking together with antibiotics for Helicobactor pylori.
I'm very anxious and usually take Something for anxiety every day and at night.
Having googled I've seen that it might not be a good idea to mix these drugs.
Does anyone have any experience with this.

Omeprazole may slow the rate at which lorazepam is metabolized which could increase, or extend its effects a little so take care when doing anything potentially hazardous, driving for example, if affected, but the combo is not dangerous per se.
