To go back on meds or not?

I have been on various different meds over the years and none seemed to work. Now granted I might not have stayed on any long enough to go to maximum dosage but I don't really want to take anything so I stopped. Anyway my therapist is really pushing for me to go back on some kind of meds now as I don't seem to be getting too far on my own. I take xanax for emergencies as I know it can be addictive. I don't know whether I should try something else like she suggested or not. What do you guys think?

difficult to say , I have the same problem however found the herb 5htp to be helpful, so am going to up that instead. Good luck in what ever you decide to do.

I geuss everyone is different, but for me the meds helped me so much, i just think if taking one tablet a day gives me a better quality of life then that can only be good.:)
