Type 1 diabetes and autoimmune disease

Anyone got any of these. Would help to know how you cope and what helps thanks. I’ve not long been diagnosed.

The majority here fear illnesses. There may be a few but since you've actually been diagnosed, it may benefit you to find a forum of fellow type 1 diabetes/autoimmune disease sufferers and get some direct feedback. When I was going through my illnesses, the specific forums were quite helpful.

I agree with Fishmanpa. My son was diagnosed at age 12, 6 years ago, with type 1 diabetes. There are many helpful and supportive forums available. This is a very manageable condition. Follow all of your doctor's guidelines and make sure you have an endocrinologist who is available to answer all of your questions and concerns in a timely manner. You will be fine.
