Is it possible to give yourself double vision?

Hi just got glasses for the first time and I'm worried I'll get double vision, sometimes I'll see reflections or ghost images next to something I'm looking at, for example light sources but it's only for a fleeting moment. I'm thinking about it a lot and wondering if its possible to rewire my brain into seeing doubles?

A bit of a nicer reply for you... No you won't give yourself double vision don't worry. The opticians will have given you the right glasses, don't stress :)
