Depression and physical symptoms

So I’ve Been struggling like mad recently with various stomach complaints etc and my doctor said my tests from a few months ago were all clear So it’s anxiety and ibs!

But I looked at an article today explaining about depression and the symptoms that you have,and one main symptom I’ve had for a few days is this weird sinking feeling at the pit of my stomach and this tends to be a starter symptom in depression followed by stomach complaints, pain etc so it would make a lot of sense that my anxiety would go hand in hand with depression
