Hello, just a quick question really :flowers:

I am starting a new SSRI medication on Monday...and im slighty worried. I have a massive phobia of vommiting and im bothered that the new med will make me vomit (as one of the side effects when an SSRI is started)

Advice anyone?

Hi Daisy

I never vomited when on medication, so its unlikely you will too hun.:ohmy:

I used to take my meds in the evening before bed, that way any side effects will have worn off by the time i got up in the morning.

I to have had lots of different meds but none ever made me feel sick

I've occasionally felt nauseous but if you take them with food it's generally fine. Never been sick.

I have never been sick on them either. Don't think it is that common a side-effect.

I never got ill on them either, I feel it is best not to read the side effects then you won't dwell on them. Good luck.
