So I don’t want to gross anyone out, but I am really concerned.

Yesterday I went #2 and noticed light red/ pink blood when I wiped... it spooked me a little but I tried not to worry- it was a softer normal movement- I go in and out of being constipated.. not quite sure why- I eat very healthy high protein / low carb/ work out.... I do have to admit tho I don’t drink as much water as I should-

Today when I went it was full on drops of bright red blood- almost like someone had cut me - and drops in the toilet too- as well as on the paper. With some pain, and constipation again.

I do remember on Monday I was traveling and had major acid reflux and constipation and strained majorly.. but would bleeding happen 3 days after? Why didn’t it happen that day?

I’m only 29! Could this be cancer????

No, it couldn't, it's almost certainly just a fissure, no need to sweat it.

No to the cancer. I am in the 'almost certainly' a tiny cut on some soft tissue on the exit, the reason why 'amost certainly' is that I guess you could have a haemmheroid (god I can never spell that word!) that is also slightly bleeding. Constipation would be the cause, and then new bowel movements re-open and irritate the cut/hemmie.

Uhh thanks guys :/! I went to the bathroom and it happened again but even worse, and super painful. Again bright red...

I’m taking rutin...

I’m also experiencing cramps right after for like a half hour... is that normal?? I’m also 3 days away from period.

Uh sorry guys I know tmi but I’m trying to not worry.

What is rutin ?

I think it could be a fissure that maybe needs treatment then, or at least some advice from your PCP. I recall that pain quite well, its pretty unpleasant and maybe you need something as a stool softener to allow it to heal?

I had a really bad one once and dr checked out.
Dr gave me stool softener.
Do not push AT ALL.
Even if it takes an hour to complete a movement, don't force it.

Rutin is a plant based vitamin that is suppose to help strengthen the vascular system and has shown success with hemorrhoids..

Yes I’m going to get prunes today..

I can tell you last Monday I strained like I was having a child to get a
Bowel movement out.... I’m thinking it started there?

Yeah.. I’m not pushing- but as it’s coming out I still get intense pain and blood.

Well as we have all said it will be piles or a fissure.

Definitely a hemorrhoid, or a fissure

Go to a doctor and they'll perform put a finger inside (it's painless) to check for hemorrhoids, it's quick and easy, and they'll prescribe some Anusol which are capsules you insert into your rectum so the hemorrhoids reduce in size and eventually disappear completely
