Hallo.

I've been having OCD for a while now, and lately the obsessions has been around psychosis and other psychotic illnesses.
I've convinced myself that i'm "hearing voices" even though it's ambient sounds that i'm HYPER adware off, and everytime i hear something that i can't source out i freak out ALOT.
The "voices" has never been talking to me, never been direct, never been clear enough to even get a single word out of, it's just small random noises that sticks out of the ambient. In my heart i know it's utter BS but i can't stop obsessing about it.
Ever since i've gotten hearing loss and tinnitus my entire auditory "brain" has been WAY off and the anxiety is making it rough for me to habituate.
I dissociate ALOT which too is fueling the whole schitz issue...

Anyways, what i'm hoping to achieve with this post is a friendly chat with someone who'd had schitz-ocd and overcome it, maybe feeling like i'm not the only one in the world obsessing about this would be nice too. :scared15:
Anyone who's got a issue similar to mine is welcome to join in.

While I have not had SCZ OCD, I can assure you that this is "normal" in terms of OCD and you are not alone. Many with OCD and extreme often go through a phase where they wonder if they are going crazy or truly do have schizophrenia. Stay strong, stay on your meds, keep engaging in therapy and hobbies that you enjoy.

There are people on here who have been through this, I've spoken to more than a handful since being on here, but it's not a common theme seen on here (many themes are the same on here) so you might want to do some searches on their threads.

People like ChocoOrange, BrokenAge, Viking111, TomT, etc. There is lots of advice & discussion across some of their threads. I remember sticking a load together on this one:

There are others around but not sure how many are still active?

Wauw thanks, it sounds like he is going though the same thing as me!

I think people who overcame their anxiety or symptomes, quit forums like these. So it might be hard to find someone who recovered :lock:

That is very true. But there are some of us who are doing well who pop in from time to time :)
