finally been discharged! :-)

Hi All

Just wanted to share my success with you all today.

I had a reveiew this morning with my Community Care Service and Occupational Therapy service who have been helping me for the last couple of years get some normality back into my life due to Agorophobia, well today i got discharged from both services and im over the moon and so where they!:yesyes: :yesyes: :yesyes:
They where really pleased with all the progress i have made, and congratulated me for all my hard work!:yesyes: It was hugs all round too, and to be honest im a little sad and going to miss them all as they have become good friends.

I never thought there was light at the end of that tunnel, but today just proved there is, im on my own now and boy am i going to make up for all my lost years !!

It hasnt been easy, believe me there have been many times when i just wanted to give up.:ohmy:, and have had many setbacks, I have had alot of help from the mental health services and also from this site:) There are still the odd thing i struggle with but nothing compared to how i was.

Im sure many of you will think when will it all end, i used to think like that all the time, i just hope and pray that my recovery will give others hope.:hugs:

It also makes me realize that I too can get better. The road may be long, but there is light at the end.
