Hi I think I知 experiencing panic attacks in my sleep they wake up and it feels like my body is shaking from the inside . I breathe and it calms me down but this is quite scary can anyone relate

Oh, heavens, yes, it happens to me on a fairly regular basis and it's horrible.

It sounds as though you know how to wrangle them, though, which is half the battle.

Very common unfortunately.

What you're doing is the right thing to do, but it's often worth trying to ground yourself before bed. Meditation works for me, some people write down everything they're worried about before bed, or have a bedtime ritual including reading, NOT looking at phones or screens etc.

I used to get it a lot, and eventually learned getting up and going for a pee/getting some water and just ignoring it helped.

I wake up most mornings with this trembling, I知 okay for a few seconds until I wonder if I知 shaking then it starts! This is my worst anxiety symptom at the minute and by this forum it sounds very common unfortunately
