Chest arm and jaw pain soo scared

Hi

I'm hoping someone can make me feel a bit better because I'm so down atm.
I have been getting pains on my left hand side and went to the doctors and have now been referred to a angina specialist to make sure everything is ok.
The pains have been in my arm jaw and left hand side I just thought it was anxiety but now I'm petrified it's more.
I'm only 40 and the sound of angina scares me so much.
My hospital appointment is on tuesday so will hopefully find out more then.

I have angina and keep a bottle of nitroglycerin around for attacks. What you describe is not at all what I experience. Sounds like your doctor is practicing CYA medicine and it can't hurt to be checked out.

Sorry I don't know what angina is but it could be TMJ. This is tension you get in the jaw and it can spread to arms. It's always worse on one side. YouTube got some good videos of simple exercises you can do.

I get pains in those same areas and in my chest as well, had a couple stays in the hospital because of it (I have a family history of sudden death so they tend to err on the side of caution with me).. I am 37 and see a cardiologist every 3 months because I have arrythmia's. I have brought these pains up to her and she saw me once at the hospital when she happened to be the doctor on call and she has never been to concerned.

I'm not saying you dont have some sort of heart condition, none of us can know for sure but try not to worry yourself to much at this point as it can and will make everything seem worse then it actually is.
