I think it's this one thought that keeps me anxiety going. It's the S word. "What if things get so bad and I won't be able to cope". Now to be clear I have no desire or intention of doing this but the thought scares. Does anyone else get this? Tell me I'm not mad.

You're not mad, I think this is actually a pretty standard panic thought? I know I get it on a regular basis when my anxiety's flaring up.

For me this is the king of scary thoughts.

It's awful, but you can train yourself out it if you work at it.

I hear you! Coping with the same at the moment. For like 3 months. It is a little better now. You realy have to blabla the tought when it comes up.

Also when the tought comes up I feel very bad in the stomach area.

Look for my last 2 topics, you will see.

It is hard I know! But hey lets do this togheter.
