How do you come off Paxil ?

My sister found out in a hurry that you can not stop taking paxil as within 3 days she was totally nauseated.
How do you come off with limited symptoms?

I also have been taking them for 3weeks and still feel tired and sweat more than usual, does this go away.

I would admit I had a few side effects while starting them with the nausea and sweats even when I held up my arm.

I have found that I have alot of released tension in my neck and shoulders, but still worry a bit about heart attacks.

Best to see doc and come off it VERY slowly

You can get the liquid form so you can reduce 1mg at a time!!!

Its very hard to stop it but it can be done gradually:yesyes:

It has to be done slowly and reduce the dose each week

Get the GP to draw up a plan for you.

I agree I am on Paxil. You go on it slowly and off it even slower. Good luck.
