thanks for all your replies.
i have a 10yr old daughter and i live a near normal life as i fight hard to not let my illness disrupt my daughters life, however i am unable to work so i am confined to the house most days. most of my friends are either working full time or they have younger children and i sometimes feel i dont really fit in and im left on the shelf whilst everyone else gets on with life. this really depresses me! i visit people, socialise with friends at home etc etc so i do try, but im unable to do alot of the things i would really like to do.

ive been in the chatroom and everyone is really friendly so i will be sticking around on this site! thanks again for all your replies, nikki x x

Hi Nikki,

Good for you for all your progress

What would you really like to do and what do you think you have to do next ( manageable to work towards ) in order to start getting there ?

hi meg,
ive tackled myself mentally with a year of therapy and now i really need to tackle my physical symptoms once and for all.
id love to go out to work or university, id love to make new friends so that i can socialise again and take part in the real world again.
id love to be able to feel relaxed again and be able to do more things on my own and not have to ask for help with shopping and parents evenings etc etc
i almost recovered before so i keep telling myself its possible again, i had a major confidence and self esteem problem that i worked through with a year of therapy and that has improved, so things should be easier for me with dealing with my panic symptoms.

Great Nikki,

So pick one or two of those that you'd like most and decide what small steps you need to take to get closer to it ..
It can seem too overwhelming to work towards the whole picture at once.

We'll help you through to achieve it
