Head and neck pain

I was in a minor car accident a few days ago and have been having neck and head pain since. My pain goes up the back of my neck and around the sides of my head where my temples are. It makes me sick to my stomach. I'm worried I've dissected or torn an artery in my neck.

A little over two weeks ago I was at roller derby practice where I had my leg taken out from under me and I landed squarely on my tailbone (big ouch!) a couple days later I realised my neck was really uncomfortable and aching, it caused headaches that made me feel sick for easily 10-12 days it’s only eased up in the last few.

Just because something hurts doesn’t mean there’s something serious going on, things hurt when we’ve been injured, they take time to heal. Serious things seldom happen without being very obvious, neck ache and pain in the head are quite normal after an impact, If you find yourself getting a lot worse then have a chat to the dr but the likelihood is you just need pain killers and rest.
