Hi everyone.

Recently I noticed that my right lymph node in my neck had become swollen along with feeling a bit run down etc. This usually happens when I feel a little ill so thought nothing of it. Well, the past week my dreaded wisdom tooth has tried to push through and as a result I've been in a lot of pain. I went to the dentist who said it wasn't infected (which was yesterday) and to do warm salt water rinses which I've been doing. Well, it seems now there is a small abcess on the gum (I've had one before) so its clearly infected now. But I'm more worried about the fact my lymph node under my jaw has become swollen meaning that my body is fighting the infection. But now I'm worried the infection is going to spread down to my neck or worse.

If the abcess doesnt go down by Monday I'll obviously go back but I cant stop thinking I'm putting my life in danger by waiting.

Sorry for the ramble.

I know this was a while ago but did you get this sorted?

I was searching posts because I have the exact same thing going on! My wisdom tooth is trying to push through, but now I have one swollen lymph node, and like weird tingling in my jaw and some pain by the lymph node, I have no signs of an infection of my wisdom tooth - about a year and a half ago it got infected and I deffo knew about that as my whole face on one side swelled up and I couldn’t eat food that wasn’t liquid haha!

Urgh it’s just horrible and with already awful anxiety this isn’t helping 😬
