I’m at my wits end with my hair breakage!!
For the past year my hair has been breaking off mid-shaft no matter what I do. I’ve always had healthy hair and it’s never been dyed and hasn’t been heat styled in years.
I did however move to an area with hard water last year, 6 months later this all began so I’ve always wondered if that was the culprit. The only medical issue I can find that could cause it would be thyroid issues but I’ve brought it up multiple times to my dr and she does not think that that’s the issue since I have no other symptoms at all.
Also, if it was a thyroid issue, wouldn’t it be breaking closer to the top and not randomly halfway down the shaft and towards the bottom?
I’m just looking for anyone else who has had this issue as I don’t know what else to do at this point.
