Hello, it’s been quite some time since I’ve posted, but I really do need some advice.
I’m an anxiety sufferer (also have had depsression in the past). I came off sertraline end of October)
Fast forward to now, I’ve have a virus for about 2 weeks, maybe longer; I’ve been to the Drs who didn’t seem fussed, I had gone becuase I ears have felt blocked) have since had syringed.
Anyway, this past week I have felt “detached” like I’m in a dream, I’ve still got the remnants of the virus, cough stuffy nose etc, but otherwise I’m fine.
I feel like I’ve got a tension headache too,but what’s mainly stressing me is the feeling like I’m not here feeling, and it’s made my anxiety flare right up, convinced I have a brain tumour!

Has anyone had this before?

It's incredibly common for anxiety sufferers, and probably being made worse by being ill.

Very, very common.

Just ride it out, it'll pass.

Yes it’s just the brain feeling overloaded - with time and acceptance - it will go x

Is this what depersonalisation is? I’ve googled it and it does sound like it,
It’s been pretty much constant for a week, some days better than others

When I'm depressed I feel like I am in a bubble. If you have come off your sertraline recently and you feel this way I would speak with your doctor. Maybe you came off them too fast/too soon. I've had a couple off attempts at coming off sertraline. Like others have said you are also run down.

It's exactly what it is. Can last a day or a year, but just don't focus on it. It's here, stay calm and let it pass. It's not dangerous, just uncomfortable.
