Hey everyone,

Just curious if anyone has ever had a sensation of "minty" coldness in the throat when breathing in? I'm guessing it's some sort of throat irritation, but it's really noticeable if I take a deep breath, or completely fill my lungs and hold it. It's not a painful sensation, just "cold" I guess.

Has anyone experienced this, and if so, did you ever get a proper explanation? I'm actually kind of worried it's a weird referred sensation from my lungs or something (I don't even know if that's actually possible, but my HA mind is going a little nuts here worrying about lung cancer etc).

Thanks!

Happens to me all the time when I breathe in. I wouldn't say it's minty but definitely cold.

Lung cancer tends to have more worrying symptoms than a cold throat, and I've never heard of that being a symptom of anything other than breathing in slightly cold air.

Try not to let the HA win.
