Acne literally all over my body

I’m 20 but I have worse acne now then I did as a teenager. I got the odd spot as a teenager but now my face is always breaking out. My back is also covered in spots, it was when I was younger but now it’s way worse. Also have acne on my chest, stomach and even my legs. Have also found the odd spot on my arms!

Trying to stop my self from googling. Anyone else experienced this?

The only thing I can think of that might be causing it is sugar because it seemed to get worse when I switch back from drinking Diet Coke to regular coke. Don’t know if sugar can even cause acne though.

I'm experiencing this at the moment.
Never had acne during teen years and now, at 24, my face is like a pepperoni pizza.
I also have spots on my chest, breast, legs and even on private parts... And oh Lord if they hurt! They're like chists sometimes.
My dermatologist said it is "late onset acne" (I'm translating from Italian, don't know if it has a different name in English) he gave me 3 creams to apply on my skin and it is getting better
