Scared to take my medication

I’m on losartan for high blood pressure. Been on it for awhile. The past couple months my insomnia has went ****ing nuts and my GP gave me Trazodone to try. I’m terrified to take it with my BP medication. I worry that my blood pressure will drop while I’m sleeping or something along those lines.

If your doc thought there was a risk of that happening to you, why would s/he prescribe it?

I see the point and there is a moderate risk between the two. Mainly just added effects of lowering blood pressure and problems associated with that.

Even if it does lower, it won't be that dramatic. You shouldn't have to worry about it lowering that much if you're already asleep. To me, I don't see the big deal here.
