Heartburn or something else?

Hi all,

So since Saturday I've been feeling pressure and tightness in my chest and throat. This comes and goes but sometimes can stay around for hours. My throat feels like its burning - A few weeks ago, I noticed that after I had eaten and would burp, I would regurgitate little bits of food up.

I don't have pain per say but I do have an acidic feeling in my stomach. It burning, tightness makes me feel a bit breathless but I hasn't stopped me from being able to do intense exercise or anything.

So wondering if this is heartburn or something worse. The feeling is at the bottom of my throat and occasionally across the chest.

Could anyone advise or anyone that's had heartburn/GERD tell me if these symptoms sound similar?

Thank you so much for your response - it is normal to feel breathless but not really breathless if that makes sense and it coming in waves?

Breathlessness is a common side effect of reflux, yes.
