Hi everyone I have been struggling with anxiety on and off for the last four years.

i have visited this site many times and found some really good advice and tips to help me cope. I am now on day 12 of 10mgs of citalapram and it’s been hell, with awful side effects but hoping things will settle very soon.

This is my third time on them and can’t believe I am here again back to square one. Maybe I need to accept that I will need them long term.

I have faith that they will help me get back on track as they helped me before.

I am suffering with an awful burning mouth and throat and wondered if anyone else has experienced this?

Thanks for reading this

Burning throat and mouth can definitely be anxiety, I've had that a few times as well as the burning tongue syndrome. It's to do with being highly sensitised.

Hi carnation,
I had my suspicion that it might be, just hope it passes soon as it’s so uncomfortable.
thanks for your reply.

It's something that comes and goes according to our state and there's no rhyme or reason to it's time. I've had it for one day and another time, for 3 weeks.
Plenty of ice cream! x
