Hi all

Does anyone really truly believe that the brain can produce the symptoms of the disease you are worrying about ?

I’ve been twitching for 1 year now and I am trying to trace back if they came on when I read about the dreaded MND ( before that I was hooked on ms )

I’m finding it hard to convince myself that this is anxiety and not something serious .

My anxiety is off the scale tonight and I’m so tired of feeling like this :(

I think most of the times twitches are normal, they can be a sign that one has a nutrient deficiency or low magnesium and sometimes they happen for no reason at all but rarely MS or any other rare condition you came across on google.

Yes, anxiety can and does cause MANY different symptoms.

Yes.

This article highlights how the brain can make pain out of nothing. I don't think it's unreasonable that it also has that power for other symptoms.

Not believing the brain/body connection is like not believing the Earth is round.

It's not about faith, it's about absolute fact.

Just put this down to a lesson in not googling, and then practice NOT ruminating over a common anxiety symptom.
