Hi guys!
So firstly, my apologies if this is in the wrong place, but I wasn't sure where to post.
I am due to go on the trip of a lifetime to New York next week, but I can't stop worrying about the flight.
Little bit of background. I'm 24 and have only ever been on 1 holiday abroad - a 4 hour flight. This one is more like 8 hours. I am unfortunately rather overweight, and have had varicose veins for a good few years too.
I can't stop worrying about blood clots, DVT and just flying in general. I think I'm also anxious about *being* anxious, as ridiculous as that sounds.
Basically - does anyone have any tips for settling my nerves about flying long haul?? How can I feel at ease with this fear of blood clots??
Thank you in advance.
