Hello people!
What is the strongest medication to force yourself to sleep.
I mean a medication that is able to force you to sleep even after few minutes of waking up from your bed in the morning or night.
50mg of Quetiapine works for me but only after staying wake up for 14 hours+.
Please no Benzodiapenes, I'm already taking 1,25mg of Lorazepam and it does nothing because I built tolerance on it, and I think antipsychotics are my only last hope.

Why do you want to get back to sleep after waking in the morning?

Which is about what it is supposed to do. Most people are awake for around 16 hours a day.

Benzodiazepines are poor sleep meds as tolerance to their sedation builds quickly, often within a couple of weeks. The 'Z' class hypnotics - zaleplon, zolpidem, zopiclone/eszopiclone - are not much better as they target the same GABA-A binding sites.

Maybe not. I'm unclear on what you are trying to achieve. It sounds like you want more than to simply overcome insomnia to get a good night's sleep.

My promazine is antipsycotic. Doctor ordered me to take 2 at night, along with a valium. I sleep like a baby sometimes. Other times insomnia. Personally, I don't take anything to help me sleep but the meds can sometimes help. My morning dose usually puts me to sleep for an hour or so in the afternoon.

Oh, and missing any dose of my paraxotine will put me out like a brick for the day.
