Hey everyone,

I have been a posting member for a while, although I was more active under another account five or so years ago. Iv'e recently started writing a novel about my experiences with hypochondria and was wondering if anyone would be interested in reading the first chapter and letting me know what they think.

For context, the first chapter is about Headaches and Brain Tumour fear, which are one of the most common fears I have found, especially for me when I was at my worst.

If you are interested you can shoot me DM and I'll send you it! If not, thank you for reading and have a nice, hypochondriac-free day!

I would, but since brain tumors are my main fear, I'm afraid it will trigger me... Would you say it would trigger health anxiety?

Honestly, it depends. I don’t think it would personally, if anything I would think it would kinda reinforce how silly the fear is. But that’s just me!

Sorry I didn't respons. I have decided I am brave enough to read it. For some reason I can't send you a DM, maybe you can send me one?

I hope it doesn't set you off but it really shouldn't, and will give you a little perspective on how ridiculous our fears can be, and the behaviours it draws out of us as well.
