I hate to post when so many people are dealing with this awful Covid 19 and hate to seek reassurance but here goes.....for some months mainly my little finger left hand has been shaking/twitching. I wasn't too concerned to start with, just put it down to another twitch but this one seems more persistent and also present when the hand is in use as well as at rest. Previous twitches have usually been at rest only.

I also have a bit of a weird internal vibration and weakness in the arm.

Anybody?

Nicole, what you describe is very common with high anxiety and is in no way harmful.
The movement you describe will stop of its own accord and in the meantime find things to do that will calm you.

My fingers have been twitching for over a decade. Some of the time it was down to how I held my old cellphone. When I swapped to an iphone, that twitching stopped too, but my little fingers continue to twitch apace. When I showed my husband how they go, he held his hands out and his were the same. Perfectly normal, I don't worry about it any more.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I'm trying to be more aware of how I hold my phone and type etc. It's weird how certain symptoms grip us and others no longer cause worry. I don't worry at all about twitches elsewhere on my body anymore. Even breast pain which used to put the fear of God in me doesn't (quite so much) any more. I think once I have had the same thing over and over and it's not "developed" into something nasty, I move on....

Thanks again x
