Sorry if this sounds a little crazy...I’m trying to seek some rational opinions without annoying anyone in my family because I’ve been getting really ocd lately and am visibly showing it🙁
Today I walked the dog with my family, we live in a quiet area near a hospital. An ambulance drove right past us as I was on the edge of the path- I keep seeing horror stories about it being airborne (I try not to read it and should really try to avoid it). Anyway, if I was rather close to an ambulance as it was driving past me (less than 2m) I’m assuming that there is just absolutely no way of wind transferring particles from the ambulance into the air and onto me, and that this is not how the virus works and social distancing is intended for humans who are breathing it onto others?
sorry if I sound nuts...I haven’t really had a reason to worry about catching it as I’ve been inside a lot, but I don’t want to make myself unbearably paranoid as I’ll end up panicking over a slight sore throat.
