So I'm 28 and noticed recently while taking a minute of rest during a home workout that I was wheezing while breathing. For what seems like months now, I've had a very runny nose, mucus in my throat, and one other allergy symptoms. I only notice the wheezing after exerting myself, although I'm pretty athletic and can't say I have any shortness of breath beyond what you would expect from exercise, and have no shortness of breath outside of exercise. I have to say that after doing some especially intense forms of exercise, like HIIT, I sometimes feel like my throat is starting to close up and feel like I have to cough to clear the back of my throat.
