small success, feels big

for those of you who dont know me.
im finishing university in 3 weeks, when i will get my degree in fine arts.

i just sold my first artwork today, not for a lot of money, but the person who wanted it had chased me about it for a year (i didnt beleive at first that someone wanted my art!!!!)
anyway, today, i sold the work and was given money.

im so happy!
the last two years have been a nightmare for me with all this anx stuff, and i have honestly been starting to think that this is all my life was going to be.

to all those people out there who do support local art in their areas and buy works off local artists that they love...THANKYOU!!!!!:yesyes: :yesyes: :yesyes:

from a person who has suffered badly with anx, this purchase has really made my day!! the buyer of course doesnt know of my troubles, but they have made me happy beyond belief.
i really hope this is the start of something a bit bigger, and that i can sell a little more in the future....i just love that people are sharing and enjoying what i am creating, its just the best feeling!

Wow well done peach! I would call that a big success!!
I studied art up untill A level but would never have been able to sell my work, that would be such a great feeling to think someone else is willing to give money for your work, and also it means you can generate a living from doing something you love, : )
