Gout ???

For the last couple of hours my big toe has been really painful.
There is no swelling or redness over the joint.
The pain is just below my toenail and there looks like I have caught the skin as there is a tiny bit of redness and a little bit of skin.
Im scared it’s gout as it is painful.
I know I keep jumping from one illness to another !

I have gout. I take medication for gout. You don't have gout.

Could be a small wick infection - I had one in my toe not so long ago - A bit of germaline and a plaster for a few days - and a salt bath if it's painful and it was fine - I know it's hard not to worry and easy for me to say not to - try to stay positive - big hugs
