Im kind of frustrated, I took a comprehensive lab test for thyroid and two different endo doctors gave me two different answers. One said normal, the other said possible hypothyroid from pitutiary gland because my Free T3 and Free T4 were on lower end of "normal" range. In case you're wondering my results:

Thyroxine: 8.0. (Range 4.5 - 12)

T3 Uptake: 22 (Range 24 - 29)

Free Thyroxine Index: 1.8 (Range 1.2 - 4.9)

T4, Free: 0.96 (Range 0.82 - 1.77)

T3: 137 (Range 71 - 180)

TSH: 1.910 (Range 0.450 - 4.50)

TPO Antibodies: 14 (Range 0 - 34)

T3 Free: 3.0 (Range 2.0 - 4.4)

Having anxiety, the two different answers make it so frustrating. Has anyone had this issue?

Looks normal to me.

I have subclinical hypothyroidism and my TSH and antibodies are higher than yours (bad).

The levels can fluctuate a bit so even if your T3 and T4 are slightly on the lower side of normal I don't think it automatically means you're hypothyroid.

Even if you are it's very mild and won't cause any problems. The only time I need to treat my subclinical hypothyroidism is when I'm pregnant - I just have to take thyroxine tablets then.

I take thyroxine as I've had half of my thyroid removed. Those results look fine.. My endocrinologist says "perfection" is a mid-normal range score.

What about the TPO Antibody? On another forum i had someone say that having any range of TPO in your blood is suspect for autoimmune.

Most people have some TPO antibodies. I mean yeah in an ideal world you'd have 0 but there isn't a person out there whose body is 100% perfect in every way.

My TPO antibodies are higher than yours, about 25, and it's still not considered a problem. I have a mild autoimmune problem (well, it's only a problem when I'm pregnant in fact). For general health it's really not a big deal.

My B12 came back at 370 (range 232 - 1200), and Iron came back at 68 (range 38 - 160). Im going to try a saliva test next to look at Cushings Syndrome.

Why? Who has ordered the test?
