I just want to give my mate Trac a hug as she decided to stop taking her meds (Citalopram) is feeling pretty rubbish at the moment.:weep:

She is still there for me and loads of others on here and I know she is having a hard time of things.

Hang in there mate - it will get easier and we will get you back on track (or is that Trac lol) again.

Just remember how special you are ok? :bighug1:

I know it was kind of a dumb idea just stopping my meds, but my agoraphobia is at its worst its ever been the past few months and the meds just aren't doing anything to help, and after 9 years I think I have given them a good enough go lol.

I knew if I went to see the doctor she would have just wanted to up them, but been there done that before, and I couldn't function on a higher dose, and when your a single parent to 3 girls you do need to be able to function from day to day.

I also came to the conclusion that if I beat the agoraphobia whilst on the meds, what happens when I come off them, will I have to start all over again? So I am going to just give it my best shot without them ................... nothing ventured nothing gained as they say.

Hopefully the effects of coming off of them will wear off soon .................... ive felt like my house has been caught in a whirlwind all week as it kept spinning everytime I stood up lol, plus the tiredness has been awful, but my sleep pattern has gone to pot, I have become nocturnal :wacko: Anyway it should all settle soon once my head gets used to being med free, then I can concentrate on getting out of the house and having a life again :yesyes:

I know when i came of Seroxat I was so dizzy for a while but I stuck with it and slowly it did pass.

Well the dizzyness has gone now, but so has my sleep, which is driving me mad, i just cant sleep no matter how tired I am at the minute, which isnt doing the anxiety any favours, but I have had this before and it did settle after a while :yesyes:
