You definately do not want to go to Psych Central though cause they are a pile of powertrippers over there so do not go to that forum even in the unlikely event that they send you packing from here :hugs:

I think you perceived that you were battered, Carnation? Venus has a lot to deal with at the moment with this sidebar issue, all her routine admin work and everything else going on in her life.
We are all under pressure and we can take things the wrong way when they are merely comments on the situation. I had said I disliked the sidebar too..The fact that your post was highlighted wasn't personal, I'm sure. It's just unfortunate that you have taken it the wrong way because why would Venus single you out? A few of us were whingeing about it-the comment will apply to us all.
You've obviously got a lot of support on here so why jeopardise that by joining somewhere new with all that entails with change etc? Let this blow over because it will do..x

Yep.... Totally overreacted. Then, to go and post a thread asking for recommendations for another forum based on that perception? One could take that as a personal dig toward Venus. C'mon Carnation, you've been here 6 years and have a personal diary of sorts written within the pages with many members that support you. You weren't being singled out at all! Don't allow the dragon to manipulate words on a screen to fit a untrue narrative in your mind.

Carnation I can only say that there are no thoughts about barring you from the site and I am hurt that you think that we would operate in that fashion.

Not dysfunctional...Just vibrant and illuminating..There's a lot going on on some threads and others are having a hard time too when alternative views are aired. We are still an online family even if we have differing viewpoints. It doesn't matter..Why should it?

Thanks for your input Elen. I have no idea what the protocol for barring is and I've not spoken up for myself to an admin until now. I still stand by my comments and refer to venus coming across as curt and angry with my name at the top.
Yes, we all have our troubles and other work, I was a carer 24/7 for a decade, but still found time to answer people and help as well as battle my own life.
I know admins have to have an authority approach, but personally think it should be when it is appropriate, otherwise it defeats the object of what the Site stand for and is confusing to some members. Any authority status can be abused and applied to certain individuals.
Noivous, I'm genuinely sorry to hear the news about your father. My friend, you do not need the extra stress and tension with backlash from this thread or my life.

I think someone else has said, the internet is very black and white. when someone posts something online people can either take it in the way it is meant or read the wrong things into it...... It always happens... if I was stood infront of you saying the same things that I typed you would also have my body language and vocal tone which would make you realise that it wasn't a reply aimed at you and a bad reply in any way at all..... The internet is brilliant, but it can also be a cause of disagreements because of that
We are all stuck at home (apart from working) life is so much different to normal at the mintue.......but the sun is shining and it is rather warm, which to me makes life feel a little better.
I am not sure why you would think I would want to ban you from the site.... I really don't the thought never crossed my mind and never would.
Things in no way work like that... no admin would ever just ban you from the forum, there is a procedure to that... which starts with a PM to the member and then has many steps before anyone is banned...unless you fancy learning korean and spamming the site with spam about online casinos, then I would ban you straight away..... but as I am 100% sure you won't do that you are completely safe :roflmao:

I think it might help (if you and the other staffs are happy to do this) to post a list of the steps that are taken before someone gets banned from the forum, just my opinion though (might help more than Carnation to know the steps so none of us panics if we get a first strike against us which i can easily do, one PM and i kinda panic and think there's no way back from it :scared15:
