I found a hard lump near my vagina. It moves free of my vaginal wall (I think) at some times its deeper than other times. I noticed it after the area was sore after starting to jog again. I have an apt but not for 2 weeks. I'm freaking out thinking its cancer.

I'm pretty much 100% sure this is a cyst. It'll probably go away by itself eventually. It sounds nothing like any type of cancer.

I hope so. From my google research it's kinda in the location of the bartholin gland but I think its deeper and not near the surface. Idk. I've clearly over thought every possibility lol

Ok ok. So this is my second post, but the lump is still there & apt got pushed to the 23rd. I actually thought it went away, but its definitely there. My HA Is in full swing.

I'm praying it's just a cyst.
It's near the suface but definitely internal, not on the skin.
Can feel it when I press down on the area between my vagina and leg.
I can move it, but cant be certain it's not attached to anything. Bigger than a pea but not as round as a grape. On right side.

I'm so affraid to go to the drs.
The only peace I have is that it's my only symptom. I've run through the cancer symptom checklist a lot.

I've lost all rational thinking at this point 😢

It’s probably an ingrown hair. It might even go away by the time you get to the doc. That’s a very common place for them.

Thank you.
It feels deeper than I'd assume an ingrown hair would feel. I dont know though. I've truly over analyzed it at this point.lol plus, the doctor had to reschedule my apt for next Thursday, so the anxiety continues 😬

Sometimes you can get little cysts from ingrown hair a pocket of nastiness just stays in there till your body reabsorbs it or it bursts and oozes.

My wife had the exact same thing. You most definitely have a bartholin cyst. Very common and not at all dangerous. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/bartholin-cyst/symptoms-causes/syc-20369976

Thanks.
I finally go in tomorrow. My anxiety has been awful.

I read the chapters btw. I can relate.

Just wanted to update in case anyone runs across this with the same concerns.
It was a Bartholins Cyst. Just as a few had said. Yay! No further treatment needed unless it gets bothersome or painful.
