This is a very brief message to offer hope. This hell does end and you can get better. It may take time to find the right solution or the solution may just be time-but it will end. Please keep going ... it will get better.

I am on fluoxetine 40mg and have been since Christmas 2019 (20mg from October 2019). There are times when I could not take no more and times when every second was hell. It was my fourth time on fluoxetine and lots of people told me it would not work. However, I am hugely better now and you will be too. The most important thing is never give up hope xxxxx I also like to recommend meditation books that I read by Mark Williams and therapy by Claire Weekes.

Thank you also for supporting me: panic down under, carnation, Pulisa, Ankiety Joe, and of course Sarah my beading buddy. I’m sure I probably left out someone important - apologies but thank you so much xxxxx

Wow, that is great news! So encouraging!!!! At what point did you know you'd turned a corner, or was it very gradual?
I'm worried it won't work for me again as this is my 3rd time but you've given me hope 💙💙💙💙

Just read through your thread below. Your description of anger kicking in a month after coming off prozac was me to a tee! I ended up falling out with family members and shouting at bad drivers when I came off.
I'm at 5 weeks on 40mg and having a bad week after a few good days but your thread seems very similar so I'll keep plodding on .

I'd never noticed posts about it not working the second/third time. I'm about to start for the second time. Racking my brains to remember whether I ended up taking it morning or evening - I have a feeling I began at night but found the timing meant I was really tired in the day, so am going to try morning...

This gives me hope. I just took prozac today for the fourth time and I'm scared it won't work anymore but seeing this gives me hope. Thank you for posting
