So I’ve been doing much better with my HA recently, until 2 days ago!

So I went for a woodland walk and whilst building a den with my little one I managed to get 3 cuts to my right leg. This obviously drew attention to it and I wrapped it up with a piece of material.

Coming home I opening it up to look at it and I notice petechiae on both legs! And now I’m noticing random ones all over my body.

I’m feeling sick with anxiety, depressed and so so low I don’t seem to be able to find my way out. I’ve tried using logic but I just keep sinking.

Really need some advice/ help of any sort.

I can’t believe I’m back at square one again

If you were ok before the cuts and now you have them then logically it is too much of a coincidence for it to be anything else? Could you have picked up an infection? Might you have had an allergic reaction? All things dr google wont have put at the top of the list. Have they got any better? If not you may want to call your doc to see what the best solution is but like I say it seems so coincidental that it surely has to be then cuts. I would like to add I am no expert.

I've got loads of them and have done since my first pregnancy (2011). With each pregnancy I've gained more. My mum also has them. Doesn't have to mean anything sinister.
Do you shave your legs? Could that be a reasonable explanation?

Don’t shave my legs, the cuts are on my right leg and the petechiae are on both as well as odd dots here and there.

Charlie how many do you have and where are they?

The frustrating thing is that I don’t know if they were there before but I didn’t pay attention to them or if it’s new.

Can’t even get into my docs at the mo, I’m so scared

I'm covered in these, as far as I can tell they're harmless.

I have loads on my stomach (presumably where my skin stretched so much in pregnancy), some across my chest, the tops of my legs and arms. If I look hard enough, I can usually find some. The ones on my stomach are v noticeable. No stretch marks though, so every cloud and all that...

If it was something sinister would I have more symptoms or could it present like this. I’m particularly worried about Leukemia or sepsis

If you had either of these, you'd have so much more going on than a few little red dots, seriously.

So I spoke to a nurse this morning at my GP practice and sent pics she has booked me in for a blood test tomorrow morning, she said she’s doesn’t think it’s anything to worry about but as I’ve not noticed them before it’s better to get the Blood test done.

Here we go 6 days of hell waiting on results.

My mind is out of control. Is she suspicious of something sinister.

Has anyone else had blood tests suggested for these dots?

Not specifically, but I've had plenty of blood tests since 2011. Honestly, I have loads of the red dots. I think if you had sepsis, you'd be very very poorly.

I’ve had red dots for years, they never used to bother me (until HA kicked in). Had a blood test two months ago that was completely clear. My mum and sister have these too, completely harmless.

Thanks guys, I have quite few though. I really hope you’re right and it’s nothing. I’ve scared myself so bad ive been on the loo all morning. No appetite. Feel a bit of a zombie and have a toddler to entertain :(

It's one of those things that once you start looking for them, you'll find more and more. I cna empathise about entertaining a toddler. I'm in a spiral of my own and I know how consuming it is and how difficult it is to feel reassured. Put a movie on and be kind to yourself x
