Help and advice..please please

I have really been struggling with Citalapram for 10 days and have not had any natural sleep for 8 days. i don't know if this is the anti D. Been back to the doctors and he has told me to stop Citalapram for 2 days and then take Amitriptyline in the evenings. When i last had anxiety 15 years ago i took Amitriplyine and it really sorted me out, that's why i have it.
Just wanted to know what do people think should i stick out Citalapram and hope i sleep or take Amitrip. Worried about switching too. Anyone done this?

I think I would take the amytriptaline it helped me sleep, I think this is what you could do with at the moment is rest. 10 days is not long on the other meds they can take 3 weeks to work have you asked the doctor if you can take both drugs together I know some people do. hope this helps, you have my support anyway:hugs: :hugs: :hugs:
