Here is one of my all-time favorites. A pure good vs evil scene. John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, and Lee Marvin in The Man who Shot Liberty Valance. Enjoy

Oh, you've started something now. I'll have to have a think about this, but defo the part in 'Pretty Woman' where Julia Roberts goes back into the posh clothes shop saying to the sales assistant "You work on commission, don't you? Big mistake!" :yesyes:
No doubt I'll think of some more.

Thank you Noivous, the ending to 'Pretty Woman' is pretty corny, but I do like that scene :)

And of course the famous dance scene in 'Pulp Fiction.'

Was this the first known photo bombing? :winks:

In the Lego Jurassic World game they mix this scene with the one in Jurassic Park II where the ship crashes and the T-Rex escapes. No shark, the Brody boat is next to the pier and he gives the famous line after seeing the T-Rex.

LOL That might be the first video bombing!

This apparently is the first photo bombing...

By far Charles Bronson's best film.

Hard Times

Great scene. the guy is ripped and I think he's about 53 years old at the time.

Oh yeah. There is a great documentary on the survivors of the Indianapolis on Amazon Prime. Let me try to find the name of it; you should watch it.

USS Indianapolis: The Legacy

There is a PBS one that is good too, that gives more of an historical overview the mission, salvage of the wreckage, and the outcome of the inquest. The USS Indianapolis: The Final Chapter, but the Legacy one focuses primarily on the survivors' stories.

My dad was a Marine in the Pacific around that time. Thank goodness he didn't wind up on the Indianapolis.

You do have to wonder about this kid Phoenix. A powerful scene though.

Here's a beginning scene in Ingmar Bergman's Seventh Seal. The Knight meets death:

I always like the end scene in The Shawshank Redemption where Red walks along the beach to finally be reunited with Andy. No words needed, it just pans out.

Classic film.

I would struggle picking a scene from Planes, Trains and Automobiles. One scene would need a swearing warning on it :blush:

That is an amazing scene (and movie)! We went on a road trip a few years ago and stopped at the abandoned prison where they filmed this (it's in Ohio and you can tour it). One of the coolest places I've ever been! We wanted to go to the oak tree where Red digs up the money, but it had been struck by lightning and fell down a year before we went.

Wow! Those are great pictures Erin. Shawshank was a terrific movie. But for awhile there it was on just about everyday. But a classic prison movie. Come to think of it there have been a lot of prison movies. Like this classic:

Cool Hand Luke 1967 - Failure to communicate.
