Does anyone else obsessively take their temperature? I started taking mine because I was hot yesterday and it was 99.5, it’s fluctuated between 99 and 99.5 all day and I’m pretty worried. Do your temps get this high on normal days?

Mine was raising to 37.6 back in March then dropping to 36.4. Even now it fluctuates from 36.4 to 37.1 or 2. I notice that my left ear always gives a higher reading than the right.

I am the same way with taking mine obsessively. I have often had mine go up in the 99s without being ill. One thing to remember is that body temperature definitely fluctuates day to day, and during that day as well. In the mornings mine will be lower. And a lot of factors can contribute to the change in temperature. My temperature was even on the low side, I think 96.3 one day back when I was at the doctor and she told me it can be normal. But most days it is 97.7-99.1 so it’s never really the same for me either. My doctor told me that it is considered a fever when it reaches 100.4 so you are still a ways away.

Yeah on this one thermometer I have it jumps around all day. This morning was 98.8 and then it went up. It’s just hard because I can’t tell if I’m feeling feverish because my anxiety symptoms are really similar

Doctor is telling me it’s normal but I’m not so sure. Worried about covid and unsure if I should get a test.

Well I think I’m this case (and all cases really) you should listen to your doctor. They are the medical professionals not us.

Some days mine raises for no particular reason & some days it doesn’t. It’s just one of those things, and definitely can be anxiety related.

My usual temperature is between 36.8 and 37.1. Some days I go up to 37.4 or 37.5.

Oh ok so same as me! But my baseline is higher. It’s the 37.4/5 readings that stress me

It happens sometimes, and anxiety can somehow raise it too. Try to stop taking it & im sure you’ll start to worry less.
